First of all, my apologies for not posting info about all the trail rides this weekend. Seeing as how it's currently snowing in NP, trail riding is not forefront on my mind. Remember, call before you haul. Twila Brown does a great job of keeping track of area trail rides, just visit nebraskahorse.info.
Second, just found out Sherman Tegtmeier is coming to NCTA in Curtis for one day only, Saturday, October 24. For a flyer, please go to Plain Bay Mare. Those of you that have attended one of his clinics at Curtis before know you don't have to be a reiner to learn from this man. Just a good, solid horseman who can help you with a variety of issues. Sessions are going to be limited to no more than 4 people per session, so please register ASAP.
Third, there will be a Matt McLaughlin dressage clinic at NCTA, November 7 and 8. For a flyer, please go to Plain Bay Mare. This will be a great opportunity if you're interested in either riding or seeing some dressage.
Fourth, if anyone in the NP area is looking for riding lessons for their kids, give me a shout at plainbaymare@gmail.com. I had a person recommended to me today that sounds very promising with both both western and English (including jumping) for YOUTH.
