Lotta stuff going on this weekend in West Central Nebraska...
Saturday, the 19th: The NCTA will host their 2nd annual Shiny Show. This show complements their long-running Shaggy Show held every spring. English,showmanship, western and games classes going on. More details can be found by going to the Plain Bay Mare site (link is on the right-hand side of the screen).
Sunday, the 20th: Benefit Show for the Tim and Becky Gibbens family at Gothenburg. Becky has just been diagnosed with stomach cancer and has had surgery and treatment in Pittsburgh, PA. Her daughter, Blaire is a horse 4-H Member, and Tim, Becky's husband, is a leader in the Pony Express 4-H club in Gothenburg. Again more info can be found at the Plain Bay Mare site.
In addition to both shows, Nebraska High School Rodeo contestants will be competing those days in North Platte at the Wild West Arena.
